GETMOVERS QUOTE/ESTIMATE BREAKDOWN
GETMOVERS pride ourselves on transparency, honesty, integrity, and customer satisfaction. We ensure all of our quotes are fair, and completely transparent. Estimates are calculated based on a number of factors. These include distance, weight, special circumstances, odd or awkward items (pianos for example). With every estimate, we provide a breakdown for our clients so you know exactly how we came to the final tally.
HOW WE QUOTE
One of the first questions we often get from clients is “How much is this going to cost me”? As much as we’d love to tell you right away, we need to know a few things about your move before we can provide an accurate quote.
First thing to note is that not every move is created equal and many have unique circumstances and challenges involved. Here are the variables we take into account when calculating a move:
HOURLY RATE FOR MOVERS
At GETMOVERS, we will gauge the amount of required hours for the move by asking a few questions about the size of the house. It’s important that we’re aware of any extra heavy or specialty items at this stage, as these will affect the number of manhours required to finish the job.
Regardless of the job, we require a payment of 3 hours. Having said that, there is no MAX cap on the number of hours a job can take. We’ve done it all, big or small.
Our hourly rate is calculated per half hour and will only begin the very moment GETMOVERS is on your doorstep. NO HIDDEN FEES.
The rate includes movers as well as wrapping furniture in blankets, shrink wrap, and disassembling and reassembling larger furniture. All required tools are covered under this price.
WHERE EXTRA FEES MAY BE APPLIED
There are items that require extra care, or extra manpower during a move. These items may include:
● Pianos
● Appliances (large)
● Billiards Tables or Pool Tables
● Exercise Equipment
● Any item heavier than 200lbs
Another potential extra cost may be a Stair Fee. This fee is only applied if a building does not have an elevator.
OUR MOVING CONSULTATION
We love chatting with our customers. During our initial consultation, we’ll discuss everything related to your potential move. At this stage, we’ll ask you if there are any specialty items, or special considerations we should be aware of before pricing your move.
We can do in-person consultations, on-site consultations, or consultations over the phone! Whatever you prefer, GETMOVERS will make it happen. For homes with more than 3 bedrooms, and for office moving that requires off-hours moving, we always suggest an on-site consultation to get an accurate quote that truly reflects the required work.
MOVING OFFICES AND HAVE A SET BUDGET?

ONCE THE MOVE IS COMPLETE
