Super moving service! Just had GetMovers come out to move us from a condo to a house. The staff was professional and helpful from the very beginning when making booking on the phone, and on moving day, the crew was efficient and incredibly competent. The movers were right on time, worked well as a team, and were very friendly! They worked super hard and took great care in wrapping and moving our furniture. I was very happy to rent an office in Downtown, but along with it, new troubles come. Luckily, I found GetMovers on the Internet and asked for local moving around Toronto. Experienced employees came to the old space with tv boxes to pack all stuff. I also notice that they wear masks and gloves, which is a significant advantage now. As for the new room, I’ve ordered junk removal and furniture installation, so I needn’t care about anything. Thanks for your support and care!
Our restaurant contains many unique items and glass, so moving to the new room was a quite complicated issue. It was right in the Downtown, so the delivery itself required a little time, but we got stuck with packing. We finally hired GetMovers to help us. The manager advised us to use blankets and plastic wrap for mirrors and vases, and there were plenty of tv boxes for tableware. It short, I don’t think we’d deal with it without professional movers. Really professional movers! I had to time for planning the process – the renovation in our new office was finished, and we only needed to deliver the furniture and PCs from the old room. GetMovers offered us partial packing for heavy items and a large truck to place all the boxes. Professional movers did all the hard jobs and we only paid the bill in the billing department. Sometimes you feel like there is no way out - I was left without an apartment with all my belongings in the boxes. The deal with the new landlord was delayed, so I had nowhere to go with all these boxes. It appeared that GetMovers offers overnight storage to store your properties. I immediately called the manager and ordered a truck. While I was settling the situation from the hotel room, all my clothes, furniture, and blankets were in the secured storage. Tips are not required but appreciated. If you think your crew was helpful and professional, then give what you believe is fair. A good rule of thumb is to tip movers $4-5 per person for each hour of work.

Our Sales Manager advises the number of movers when you book your move. We can send you as many people as you need to quickly pack up your belongings, load and unload the truck.
AIt is a good idea to book your movers as soon as possible, but the general rule is four to eight weeks in advance, especially if your move is during the summer. Long-distance moves require more time for planning, so we typically suggest booking your move date well in advance too.
It’s best to choose a weekday (Monday through Friday). It means you’ll have the entire upcoming weekend to unpack and get organized before the following work week. Moving on a Friday or a weekend may increase your costs due to higher demand for movers.
