This was a first for me. As an older person with not much family around to help, I eventually had to pull the trigger and hire movers. I had been living in a 425 sq. ft. studio for five years. I moved in with almost nothing and somehow managed to move out with the place filled to the rim. After some thought, I decided to hire GetMovers, and I’m very glad I did. Here’s how the experience went: I called and set up an available date, providing a rough estimate of boxes, furniture, and accessories. I received a follow-up call before the move, which was actually helpful because I was able to share additional details I had forgotten during the initial call. On the day of the move, the movers called ahead to let me know their expected arrival time, which I really appreciated. We did a quick walkthrough with the team leader, where I pointed out the narrow driveway and the tight ramp leading up to my unit. The team leader managed the best parking job I’ve ever seen, given the limited space. Overall, it was a very good experience. The team was professional, organized, and clearly experienced. I would hire GetMovers again without hesitation. As for the price, I did pay a bit more than I originally hoped, but I also understood this wasn’t a perfect or easy move. There were obstacles and challenges, and considering all that, the cost felt fair.

I just used Get Movers yesterday and I have to give a shout-out to Vlad and Artem because they were absolutely fantastic! Honestly, moving is usually a nightmare, but these guys were seriously pros. They showed up on time, were super careful with all my stuff (and I have a lot!), and just had a really great attitude that made the whole process way less stressful. They were really kind and helpful always answered all my questions,and seemed genuinely invested in making sure everything went smoothly. You can tell they really care about what they do, which is a rare find. If you’re planning a move and want to avoid a total meltdown, do yourself a favor and book Get Movers, and definitely ask for Vlad and Artem. They’re efficient, professional, and genuinely nice guys – exactly what you need on a hectic moving day! I’ll definitely need them next time I’m moving really sharp, on time and moved in a fast pace, the price was reasonable and they definitely deserve a raise and more!

I decided to hire movers to make the whole process much easier for me and my husband. I reached out to a few different companies online, and GetMovers was quick to reply and provide a very thorough estimate. We already had most of our home packed, so it was mainly moving boxes, heavy furniture, and packing up a few last-minute items. Originally, we were scheduled to get two trucks with four movers, but it ended up being one truck with four guys. Since our move within the GTA (Ontario) wasn’t far, it actually worked out just fine. The crew showed up on time and ready to work. They were non-stop all day, only taking a short lunch break before getting right back to it. Everything was moved into the correct rooms, and they even put our beds back together. With the amount of stuff we had, we ended up with a couple of broken picture frames, but honestly that’s to be expected and really not bad at all. They made the entire moving process way less stressful, and my husband still can’t stop saying how glad he was that we hired help!!! Thank you so much to the GetMovers team!

Move From CityPlace To Liberty Village

This was the second move using Getmovers in TOronto as our chosen movers and we are so happy we selected them. From the estimate to move-end, the process was well organized, professional, and efficient. Jason and his crew arrived at 11:30am after providing a courtesy call for their arrival. The narrow streets in Gifford St provide a challenge to large trucks but my neighbors were very accomodating in moving their cars to allow for space. Our house was a 3 bedroom with it’s contents filling the large truck. The crew paid close attention to detail it was amazing to watch their strategy as they attentively wrap the items, pack the truck, and balance the load. With the truck fully loaded, we made our way to our new home. Our car departed about three minutes after the truck and when we arrived at our new home, the truck was already parked and ready to unload. While unpacking, I removed the wrap on a dehumidifier I’d forgotten to empty. It was still full; not a drop had escaped while, wrapping, loading nor during transport! Jason and his crew were kind and gracious throughout. I would recommend them for any move large or small and we will continue to use them for all of our future moves.
